    • Gastropoda: Bithynia (Bithynia) tentaculata, Bithynia (Codiella) troschelii, Galba truncatula, Stagnicola palustris, Radix cf. balthica, Lymnaea stagnalis, Aplexa hypnorum, Physa fontinalis, Planorbarius corneus, Planorbis planorbis, Bathyomphalus contortus.
    • Bivalva: Sphaerium (Sphaerium) nucleus.

    • Habitat: gravelly sand, bank plants
    • Exposure to sun: full sun
    • Vegetation: individual bank trees (willow), diverse swamp plants (reed and other grasses), individual specimens of water-starwort.
    • Current: moderate

         Water parameters after abundant rainfalls (September 10, 2007):

  • Water temperature = 15°C (Sept. 10, 2007)
  • GH = 4.5° dH
  • KH = 4° dH
  • pH = 7.0
  • NH3/NH4 ~ 0.25 mg/l
  • NO2 < 0.3 mg/l
  • NO3 ~ 0 mg/l

 

    • crystal-clear water
