Die Schnecken sitzen zum Grossteil in und auf den Algenteppichen, oder auf den seltnen Erdschlammbänken am Rande.

Ausserdem sind zahlreiche  Spitzschlammschnecken Gelege und Planorbiden auf dem Unrat ( Plastiktüten/ Bakpapier etc. ) zu finden.
  • Gastropoda: Bithynia (Codiella) leachii (SHEPPARD 1823)  Bauchige Schnauzenschnecke, Stagnicola sp., Radix sp., Lymnaea stagnalis, Planorbis planorbis, Anisus sp., Gyraulus sp., Viviparus sp.
  • Bivalva: Corbicula ap.

 

 

Habitat  34: Zwemmer near Bergum /the Netherlands: ~ 0 m ü NN 

    • Biotop: developed lowland creek, slightly (average of 1.4 °C) warmed by cooling water
    • Habitat: muddy substrate
    • Exposure to sun: full sun
    • Vegetation: reeds, rushes.
    • Current: low

 Water parameters (December 08, 2007):  

  • Water temperature = 8°C
  • GH = 8° dH
  • KH = 4° dH
  • pH = 7.5
  • NH3/NH4 ~ 0.3 mg/l
  • NO2 ~ 0.3 mg/l
  • NO3 ~ 12 mg/l

 

    • Water is moderately brownish in color by humins

    • • Gastropoda: Bithynia tentaculata, Potamopyrgus antipodarum, Valvata (Cincinna) p. piscinalis, Stagnicola palustris, Radix cf. balthica, Lymnaea stagnalis, Physa fontinalis, Planorbarius corneus, Planorbis planorbis, Anisus (Disculifer) vortex, Bathyomphalus contortus, Segmentina nitida.
    • • According to examinations (1975-1977) by HADDERINGH et.al. (1987), in this habitat, alsoAcroloxus lacustris and Ferrissia wautieri can be found.

    • • Bivalva: Anodonta anatina, Dreissena polymorpha.
    • Collection method: picking off of wood and plastic debris.
